Brewer Smith Brewer Group (BSBG) has been awarded a Certificate of HSE Excellence by leading Dubai-based property developer, Emaar. The certificate recognises the outstanding efforts in achieving 12 million safe man-hours without LTI (Lost Time Injury) on the delivery of BLVD Crescent, and was awarded to the team by CEO of Emaar Development, Bader Hareb.
The group’s reputation for excellence in project delivery is founded on the highest level of coordination and safety on site, providing clear direction for consultants and workers, and creating a working environment where all can feel secure and go about their work free from danger. This attention to detail in terms of safety and wellbeing also resulted in BSBG and Multiplex each winning a Bronze Category Construction Compliance Award at the DDA World Day for Safety and Health in April 2019, for collaborative work on the delivery of the prestigious ICD Brookfield Place in DIFC, Dubai.John Abibas, Senior Project Engineer, collects the HSE Excellence Award for BSBG’s work on BLVD Crescent in Dubai
Commenting on the latest award, BSBG Managing Partner Alistair McMillan had this to say: “A fantastic achievement to receive recognition of this nature from Emaar. This is testimony to the hard work and professionalism of the entire team at BLVD Crescent, and I would like to personally thank each and every one of the team for their hard work and dedication, which resulted in the successful and safe delivery of this first rate residential development.”
BLVD Crescent is a dual tower residential project located on Mohammed bin Rashid Boulevard in Downtown Dubai, comprised of two rotated towers; Tower One (G+47) and Tower Two (G+25) resting upon a single podium. The unique tower configuration serves to open up the majority of apartments to stunning views of the Burj Khalifa, Downtown and Business Bay. As well as delivering BLVD Crescent, BSBG designed the project, also providing interior architecture and structural engineering. The residential development, which represents the first collaboration for the group with Emaar, has now reached completion and tenants have started to move in.
