Banyan Tree Residences - Hillside Dubai opens to residents

Banyan Tree Residences - Hillside Dubai is now complete, and residents have started to move in.

The residential development is located in Jumeirah Lakes Towers, Dubai, and is comprised of a 31-storey tower containing a selection of high-end studios, one, two, three and four bedroom apartments, duplexes and top floor penthouses. The tower also features seven duplex garden homes at ground level.
 

While the tower is striking in its form, with brilliant white fins that adorn the pristine façade before dissolving into the crown of the building, the amenities and features throughout the development are of equal splendour. Within the 110,000 sq ft boundaries of Banyan Tree Residences - Hillside Dubai are numerous uniquely devised functions and spaces, designed to embody wellness, health and comfort for the end user. A café with crafted terrace space looks out across a large pristine lawn, surrounded by trees and plants, with a children’s play area, a 31-metre swimming pool and adjoining children’s pool. A clubhouse contains a modern gym, the Banyan Tree spa, a squash court and function rooms.
 

A full-service, multi-disciplinary design project for Brewer Smith Brewer Group (BSBG), Banyan Tree Residences - Hillside Dubai is the result of close collaboration between the group and developer Sweid & Sweid, a long term BSBG client for whom the award-winning The Edge office building was completed, as well as the currently under construction Visa Headquarters building in Dubai Internet City.

BSBG completed the design and masterplanning, which maximised the use of the large plot to ensure the project would accomplish the objective - providing resort-style urban living for its residents; a place to escape from the hustle and bustle of the city, and a carefully crafted sanctuary where attention to every detail is evident. In addition interior design, structural engineering and construction supervision were also provided in completing the project.
 

During construction, BSBG was the recipient of two design awards for Banyan Tree Residences - Hillside Dubai, including the prestigious 5 star award within the Multiple Residences Architecture Dubai category at 2018’s International Property Awards.
 

BSBG Managing Partner Alistair McMillan explained more about the project: “The wellbeing of residents drove our approach to the design,” he said. “We’ve created a place which interacts with nature, providing a serene experience to those that live there.
