Beach Mansion wins Best Residential High Rise Architecture Award

Beach Mansion has won the Five Star award for Best Residential High Rise Architecture Dubai at the Arabian Property Awards 2022, having initially been shortlisted as a winner in the category in August. As the highest scoring five-star winner, the project will now move through as a nominee for the regional category, where it will be re-judged against the five-star winners in other regions of the world – Americas, Europe, UK and Asia Pacific.

The awards ceremony was held on Friday 7^th October 2022 at the Habtoor Grand Resort in Dubai. Attending on behalf of BSBG were Senior Partner Andrew Bereza, Scott Orwin (Partner), Michael Lewis (Group Design Director), Roxanne Djaiji (Lead Design Architect), Andrew Coen (Project Director) and Liam Atkins (Senior Design Architect).

Beach Mansion was designed for Dubai developer Emaar, and is located at Emaar Beachfront. The residential development is comprised of two towers (37 storeys and 20 storeys), a nine-storey podium, swimming pool and communal areas, and offers panoramic views across Dubai Marina, the Palm Jumeirah and the Arabian Gulf.

Group Design Director Michael Lewis expressed his delight at receiving the five-star award for Beach Mansion. “We’re very pleased to win the category itself,” he said. “We were up against some fantastic projects, but I think what Beach Mansion achieves is a combination of simplicity and efficiency which still captures the imagination. It’s a great scheme, we’re really proud of it and we’re delighted to move through as a nominee for the regional awards.”

BSBG Partner Scott Orwin added: “The quality of the design is first-class, and it’s a testament to the enormous talent we have within +studio that we have won yet another design award to add to our growing collection. I’m really proud of Mike and the team in their ongoing pursuit of excellence, and winning this accolade serves to further confirm the quality of their design output.”

Beach Mansion becomes the latest in a series of BSBG-designed projects to receive recognition at the Property Awards; The Edge, Banyan Tree Residences – Hillside Dubai, Visa CEMEA Headquarters, JA Lake View Hotels and Aloft City Centre Deira have each won Property Awards over the last five years.
