BSBG announces Lead Consultant and Executive Architect roles on Six Senses The Palm, Dubai

Brewer Smith Brewer Group (BSBG) has been appointed in the Lead Consultant, Architect of Record, Executive Architect, Structural Engineer and Construction Supervision roles to deliver Six Senses The Palm, Dubai, for developer Select Group.

The 135,866 m² development (BUA) is designed as an ultra-luxury offering to further enhance the Palm Jumeirah community. A 61-key hotel and 172 branded residences make up this milestone development, which brings the Six Senses international ethos of sustainability and wellness to the UAE for the first time.

Facilities include a series of restaurants and bars, a gym, squash court, spa, library, wellness centre, function and workspace rooms and beachfront swimming pools. The wellness centre, Six Senses Place, which includes the Six Senses Spa, will offer a range of clinics and treatments within a space inspired by the texture of coral reefs. Biophilic elements encourage natural circadian rhythms throughout the design, while outside the central garden provides natural shade through landscaping and courtyards.

Six Senses Residences The Palm, Dubai features a large scale residential scheme that will include 131 penthouses, 32 sky villas and nine beachfront signature villas, each of which have a garden, infinity pool and views of the ocean. Residents will also enjoy full access to the hotel’s facilities.

In line with the Six Senses brand, a sanctuary character approach has been adopted for the scheme, with an abundance of natural materials, carefully selected textures, and colours, all of which respect the surrounding environment and add to the sense of wellbeing at the resort.

Working alongside Concept Architect SAOTA, BSBG’s involvement in Six Senses The Palm, Dubai represents the latest in a series of high-end hospitality projects for the group. The project joins the recently named Lana by Dorchester Collection, currently under construction, completed London projects The Mayfair Townhouse and Nobu Hotel London Portman Square, the BSBG-designed JA Lake View Hotel and Aloft City Centre Deira as a key hospitality development within the BSBG portfolio.
