BSBG wins Best International Architecture Multiple Residence Award!

Brewer Smith Brewer Group (BSBG) has won the Best International Architecture award in the Multiple Residence category for the design of UH by Ellington.

Having already picked up three Five Star awards at the Arabian Property Awards 2024/25 for Mercer House (Mixed-Use Architecture, Dubai), One River Point (Residential High-Rise, Dubai), and UH by Ellington (Architecture Multiple Residences, Dubai), each project was subsequently put forward in their respective categories for the regional awards.

The climax of the 2024/25 International Property Awards programme was a ceremony hosted at The Savoy in London, where the regional winners were announced in the daytime, and the international winners in the evening gala event.

Both UH by Ellington and One River Point won in their regional categories at the daytime event, with UH by Ellington going on to pick up the international award for the world’s best Architecture Multiple Residence at the gala.

In attendance for BSBG were London Head of Studio, Shaham Ahmed, Senior Architectural Technologist, Opas Klinhom, and Architectural Technologist, Peter Stinson.

Shaham, who picked up the awards on behalf of BSBG’s +studio design hub, said: “UH by Ellington is a fantastic project, and fully deserving of its acknowledgement as the best international architecture for the multiple residence category. It was an honour and privilege to pick up the award on behalf of +studio, who deserve huge congratulations for the quality of the project they have produced.”

Michael Lewis, Group Design Director, added: “We’re really pleased to have picked up this international award for UH by Ellington. It’s the first project we designed for the client, and the fact it has been so well received is a source of immense pride for the entire +studio team. It’s a key legacy project for the studio and a great example of the depth of our design work.”

About UH by Ellington

UH by Ellington is a dual tower high-rise community development featuring 754 units comprised of elegant studios, and a mix of one, two and three-bedroom apartments. BSBG is the Lead Consultant, Concept Design Architect, Executive Architect, Structural Engineer, and is providing Construction Supervision.

Located in the popular residential destination of Jumeirah Lakes Towers (JLT), the residential development appears almost as a ‘gateway to JLT’ from the south, and will deliver ultra-modern apartments and sweeping terraces with true 360-degree panoramic views towards the Marina coastline, across JLT and Jumeirah Islands.

The development will include a variety of leisure facilities and amenities, including a 37-metre horizon pool, an interactive fitness studio, a health club with a climbing wall, a yoga studio, a sky spa, and padel and basketball courts.

In addition, residents will be able to make use of a bespoke movie theatre, a residential clubhouse, record lounge, podcast room, indoor skate park, a pet play area, a kids’ splash pad and play area, and an outdoor barbeque area. The project is currently under construction.
