JA Lake View Hotel closes in on completion

The BSBG-designed JA Lake View Hotel has reached the final stages of construction, with hotel staff now on site for inductions prior to the opening date – scheduled for September, according to the JA Resorts & Hotels website.

We can now provide an exclusive insight into the features and amenities guests can look forward to once the hotel opens, from a range of high-end guest room options, to a variety of curated restaurants and bars, accompanied by exclusive photos from BSBG resident photographer Sreejit Shashi, and Senior Project Engineer Sathish Manoharan.

JA Lake View Hotel Restaurants & Bars

81 will be the name of the main all-day dining restaurant located at the rear of the atrium space, named as a tribute to the year in which JA Resorts opened its first hotel in Dubai - JA Beach Hotel. This buffet-style restaurant features earthy tones and natural finishes complementary to the adjacent landscape, which guests can admire through the triple height windows that envelope the space.

It has also been announced that the Gastropub will become Republik - serving European bistro food and craft beers within a casual and relaxed setting. The concept from a design perspective focuses on the creation of a discernible connection between indoors and outdoors through the use of materiality and natural elements throughout the space.

An Indian restaurant, named Kinara, will be headed up by host of MasterChef India, Michelin-starred chef Vikas Khanna. The restaurant is designed as an upscale, contemporary offering that also pays tribute to the vibrancy and energy of traditional spice markets. The concept provides guests with the chance to learn more about the ingredients used in preparation of their food, while the open plan kitchen creates an immersive dining experience and a unique visual connection between guests and the expert chefs preparing the dishes.

The rooftop bar which offers expansive views across the resort and Arabian Sea is to be called Bibe, and will offer a range of shishas, as well as expert mixologists focused on the provision of high-end cocktails.

Guest Rooms

The guest rooms follow the same language of design as the narrative achieved throughout the hotel’s public areas. The connection and acknowledgement of the resort’s natural surroundings is a recurrent theme here, with rooms that range from the Resort Rooms, to Resort Course View Rooms (offering views across the golf course and towards the oceanic backdrop), with the luxury suites featuring expansive terraces from which guests can take in the magic of the unimpeded ocean sunset at dusk.
