The team at BSBG Ho Chi Minh City (HCMC) marked Tết, the end of the Vietnamese year, in style with a celebratory event held at the glamorous LA Garden Restaurant, located upon the banks of the Saigon River in HCMC.

Tết is an important public occasion in Vietnam, and is the most widely celebrated public festival of the year. It is celebrated on the first fay of the first month in the Lunar Calendar, and is an occasion during which the Vietnamese express an outpouring of respect and remembrance of the nation’s history and their ancestors, while welcoming in a new year with friends and family.

As part of the BSBG celebration, the ladies wore the Ao Dai, which is a traditional long gown worn with trousers. This outfit symbolises feminine beauty and is a source of national pride for the Vietnamese people.

Reflecting on the year for the BSBG HCMC office, Hong Anh Ngo said: “The team is like a family. Our employees work together with constant effort to make BSBG stronger as a company in Vietnam and Asia. This year especially we achieved so much as a team, working to deliver some wonderful projects in the BSBG portfolio.”

During the celebration, she explained that as well as recognising what they had achieved, the team set out some new goals for 2020. “We believe that during this next year it is extremely important to continue with the momentum we have here in Vietnam, and as a team we have committed to strive for even greater success during 2020.”

BSBG HCMC was established in 2017, shortly after the group celebrated its 40^th year. The studio became the first international location for BSBG, as Managing Partner Alistair McMillan sought to take the creative and technical expertise BSBG is renowned for in the Middle East, into new markets.

With the success of the HCMC expansion, a London office was opened shortly afterwards. Now with three international locations, BSBG’s integrated design and delivery solutions reach across Europe, MENA and South East Asia.
