An intelligently designed educational facility setting a new standard in school architecture within Dubai

The Royal Grammar School Guildford Dubai is a first rate educational facility with its original roots in England and a history that spans more than 500 years. Overseeing the design and delivery of the architecture, interior design and engineering under a Design & Build contract, BSBG worked closely alongside the concept design team at Bogle Architects, overseeing elements of the Schematic Design phase, before delivering the Detailed Design and Construction Documentation prior to the project moving on to construction.

A key component of the project involved a value engineering exercise in which BSBG was able to refine aspects of the design to derive substantial savings and reduce risk for the client, before obtaining fast track approvals from the relevant authorities to enable the main contractor to begin with construction at an early stage.
